Share Your Photography with ASDA

Whether you want to showcase a chapter or district event, you went on an Insta-worthy vacation or you like to take pictures in your free time, ASDA wants to share your photography in our publications.*

Every issue of Contour features the “Student Life” section, which highlights:
  • #ASDAfever at your chapter (social events, advocacy or outreach activities, lunch and learns, etc.)
  • District meetings and retreats
  • You and your colleagues at school
  • Photos of you doing something cool (mission trips, vacations, hobbies, etc.)
  • Your camera skills, showcasing your creative photography

Submitting your photos is simple:

  1. Email your high-resolution photo (.jpg or .png that’s at least 1MB) to editor@asdanet.org. You also can send a Dropbox or Google Drive link if sending multiple photos.
  2. Include a 1-2 sentence caption describing the photo, along with:
  • Your name, school and graduation year
  • Who took the photo
  • Names of students in photo(s) if feasible

Other guidelines:

  • Do not distort the image(s).
  • Avoid submitting photos that include corporate logos or artwork.
  • Proper PPE must be displayed in clinical photos.
  • If patients are shown in images, you must obtain their permission to publish the photos with ASDA.

If your images are selected for Contour, ASDA’s publications team will contact you with the publication date.

*Not all photos submitted will be published. By submitting your photos to ASDA, you give permission for use in various ASDA publications or other marketing materials.
