How do I register for Annual Session?
The registration period for Annual Session is currently closed.
Do I need to be an ASDA member to attend Annual Session?

Yes, you must be an ASDA predental or predoctoral member to attend. If you are not a member, join ASDA prior to registering.

If you are unsure of your membership status, contact the Membership Department.

What's included in my registration package?
Included in your registration package:
  • Entrance to all educational sessions and House of Delegates meetings
  • Dental Expo with more than 60 companies
  • Admission to the Welcome Reception, Gold Crown Awards, wellness functions and President’s Gala
  • Meals: Light hors d’oeuvres at welcome reception, breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and dinner on Saturday night

If you are registered for a hotel registration package, you receive a shared hotel room with another attendee of the same gender for check-in on Wednesday, Feb. 21 and check-out on Sunday, Feb. 25.

If you are a predental and selected a daily package, you will receive entrance to all scheduled conference events, as well as breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks on selected day.

Why should I attend Annual Session?
  • The ASDA House of Delegates gives all members the opportunity to voice their ideas to determine the association’s policies, initiatives and directives. Voting delegates will also elect ASDA’s officers.
  • Network with hundreds of dental students from across the country. 
  • Meet and network with potential employers, vendors and mentors while discovering new resources at the Dental Expo. 
  • High-caliber content at more than 20 breakout sessions.
Who should I contact if I need help with registration?

Will I receive a confirmation of my registration? 

A confirmation email of your registration will be sent to you immediately upon registering. The confirmation will come from the email address Please make sure this address is saved to your “safe” or “white” list. 

My school requires a registration invoice, how do I obtain one?

Contact to request an invoice.

What if I registered and have not paid my registration fee?

Contact ASDA only accepts Visa or Mastercard. 

Attendees must pay their registration fees in full before Feb. 12. Attendees with a balance due will not be granted access to Annual Session.

Can I cancel my registration?

Yes. All cancelation requests must be submitted in writing to before Feb. 12 to receive a full refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellation requests received after Feb. 12 are not eligible for refund. Refunds will be made via the method that the registration was paid for.

ASDA regrets that refunds will not be given to no-shows. Substitutions are gladly accepted until Feb. 2. Substitutions after Feb. 2 are subject to a $25 fee. Substitutions can be made by filling out this form and sending it to

Do you offer group discounts?

No. The only discount offered is the early bird registration fee to save $26. 

Can I register onsite?

No, we will not accept any onsite registrations. Pre-registration is mandatory for Annual Session.

Where and when can I pick up my registration materials onsite?

You can pick up all registration materials at the ASDA registration desks in the Disneyland Center Lounge located on the fantasy tower.

Registration hours are:
Wednesday, Feb. 21 from 3 - 8 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 22 from 7 - 11 a.m.
Friday, Feb. 23 from 7 - 8:30 a.m.
Saturday, Feb. 24 from 7 - 8 a.m.

When will the conference take place? Where is it located?
The 2018 Annual Session will take place Feb. 21-24, 2018 in Anaheim, California at the Disneyland Hotel.  
What airport should I fly into?

The John Wayne Airport (SNA) is the closest airport to the Disneyland Hotel. It is 13 miles, about a 30-minute drive away.

There are three other area airports:

  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), 35 miles
  • Ontario California International Airport (ONT), 35 miles

Do I need to book my own hotel room?

No. If you registered for the hotel registration package, ASDA will book a room for you. You will be assigned a roommate of the same gender and a confirmation number two weeks prior to Annual Session. 

If you have a roommate request and did not submit it at the time of registration, you can email your request. All roommate requests are due by Friday, Jan. 26, 2018.

If you are planning to arrive to Annual Session on Thursday, Feb. 22, please contact so we can adjust your reservation. 

What if I need an ADA accessible room?

Contact if you require an ADA accessible room. ADA rooms will only be granted by contacting us prior to the meeting.

Onsite Experience FAQs

What meals are included at Annual Session?
Thursday:   Breakfast, morning coffee break, lunch, afternoon coffee and snack 
Friday:   Breakfast, morning coffee break, lunch, afternoon coffee and snack 
Saturday:  Breakfast, morning coffee break, lunch, afternoon coffee and snack, plated dinner 

Meals not included: Meals on Wednesday and dinner on Thursday and Friday
What if I have dietary restrictions?

Follow these instructions if you have a dietary restriction:

  1. Log into your account and navigate to My ASDA.
  2. Click "My Event Registration."
  3. Click "2018 Annual Session."
  4. Select "Update Details" next to Hotel Registration Package.
  5. Click “Add Dietary Restrictions or Food Allergies."
  6. Click update to save.

Make all dietary updates by Feb. 6. After this date, contact with your dietary needs. 

Will there be an exhibit hall?

Yes, the Dental Expo will take place on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 3:30 – 6 p.m. in the South Exhibit Hall located in the fantasy tower. More than 60 companies will be in attendance.

What is the attire?
All sessions Thursday–Saturday: Business attire
Gold Crown Awards Ceremony: Business attire or ceremony attire (although not mandatory)
President’s Gala: Themed attire

Make sure to pack layers as meeting room temperatures tend to fluctuate. 

Will there be Wi-Fi?

Yes. Attendees will have complimentary wireless service in all meeting and sleeping rooms. Login information will be presented onsite. 

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. More information regarding how to download the mobile app will be sent closer to the event date.
