  • My name is Yigit Gol and I am a third year dental student at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. I am also a wedding percussionist. I've been performing at weddings for the past eight years all over Long Island. Percussion to me is very therapeutic, and a great way for me to de-stress from a long week of studying, while simultaneously paying off some of my loan debt. People are often surprised to hear about a dentist/drummer. They may think it's unusual but I think they're quite similar. Both require diligent hand skills and bring smiles to people's faces. I am fortunate to have two rewarding careers. Follow my journey @dr.percussion
