Resolved, that ASDA’s Current Statements of Position or Policy ‘B-5 CPR Training (1992)’ be amended to read:
B-5 CPR Training BLS Training
The American Student Dental Association supports successful completion of Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) CPR training by students in accordance with the standards and guidelines of the American Heart Association, prior to patient treatment, and maintenance of successful completion of CPR status BLS Certification.
