Why do you want to be a dentist?
Once I entered college and was weighing my career path options, I shadowed a dentist to figure out what it entails. When I witnessed the blend of artistry and science through patient care I was sold. I want to be a dentist because I want to be able to improve the quality of someone’s life using my passions for creativity and the sciences. I am excited to pursue a career that allows me to use my talents for a good cause.
What are you most nervous about for dental school?
The thing that makes me most nervous for dental school is the significantly less amount of time I will have to spend time with family and friends. However, I am looking forward to immersing myself in dental school classes and activities and spending my time doing things to prepare me for my career.
Why do you think you’ll make a good dentist?
I think I will make a good dentist because of my dedication and care for everything that I do. I never like to finish a task with the thought that I could have done better. I believe that my commitment will allow me to give each patient the best possible care which is the care everyone deserves.
