State Dental Associations

Relationships with state dental associations are important to the advancement of ASDA chapters. They can help with advocacy efforts and provide students with leadership and networking opportunities.

Recognizing their importance, the Board of Trustees included the following goal in the 2015-17 Strategic Plan:
  • All state dental associations will have a budget to support all in-state chapters by 2017.
The intent of this goal was to ensure that all state dental associations had a relationship with ASDA chapters and that state dental associations provided resources to further dental students’ life-long involvement in organized dentistry.

The state drop down below reflects the resources offered by state dental associations in four areas: career resources, events, leadership opportunities and financial resources.
