Chapter Idea Exchange: Back to Advocacy Basics

November 9, 2021 at 7:30 PM

We know that advocacy can be an intimidating topic, so this chapter idea exchange will break down the basics of hosting a timeless event that has repeatedly succeeded in engaging members: dental debates. We’ll discuss the benefits of hosting dental debates and tips for facilitating. We’ll also discuss collaborating with other chapters and share ideas for other ways to engage members with advocacy. Get Back to Your (Grass) Roots by joining us for this informative idea exchange.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Facilitate a well-rounded dental debate.
  2. Identify areas for collaboration with other ASDA chapters around advocacy.
  3. Share ideas with fellow members for advocacy events that worked well.
