February 7, 2026: ASDA Elects 2026-2027 Executive Committee and Board of Trustees

February 7, 2026 - The American Student Dental Association (ASDA) elected its 2026-27 national president, vice presidents and speaker of the house at Annual Session on February 7 in Minneapolis, MN. The national leaders were chosen by the House of Delegates, which represents 76 U.S. dental schools.

Honesty Boone, Los Angeles ’27, will serve as ASDA's president. The president chairs the board of trustees, which oversees the development and implementation of the association's strategic plan and approves the annual budget. As chair of the executive committee, she is also responsible for managing association business between meetings of the board. The two vice presidents and the speaker serve alongside her as members of the board and the executive committee.

Boone served as District 13 trustee for ASDA from 2025-2026, representing the first trustee for the new district.  

My goal is to strengthen what already makes ASDA extraordinary: our unity, our commitment to the profession, and our role in organized dentistry. As President, I will work to enhance transparency across the local, district, and national levels through clear and consistent communication.”

Raven King, Virginia ’27, was elected as one of ASDA vice president.

King served as the ASDA District 4 trustee from 2025 to 2026.

Alexon Tiem, Kansas City-Joplin (KCU – Joplin) '27, was also elected as ASDA’s vice president.

Tiem served as the District 9 ASDA trustee from 2025-2026 and as the ASDA Council on Membership’s board liaison.

“As someone who started in ASDA feeling small and learning everything from the ground up, I know how easy it is to wonder whether your voice really matters. I want every member to feel informed, represented, and supported. I will lead with transparency, humility, and a genuine respect for the diverse experiences of dental students across the country.”

Sadek-HeadshotMark Sadek, High Point ’28, was elected as ASDA's speaker of the house. The speaker presides over all House of Delegates meetings, instructs delegates on rules and procedures, and informs delegates and members about the resolution process.

Board of Trustees
The 2026-27 Board of Trustees were also elected at Annual Session. The Board of Trustees is responsible for administration and management of the association. Each trustee represents one of 13 ASDA districts.
