Ways to Vote

Mail-In & Absentee Ballots
Some states conduct elections through mail-in ballots. Others may allow voters to request an absentee ballot who may be unable to vote in-person on election day. Be sure to read your state’s rules and deadlines for mail-in and absentee ballots here.
Early Voting
Some voters may cast their ballot in person prior to Election Day at select polling locations. Check if your state or territory allows early voting here.
In-Person Voting on Election Day
The most common way to vote is at a polling location on Election Day. Find your nearest polling location and its hours here.
