Annual Session is the official meeting of ASDA’s House of Delegates. Attendees from every U.S. dental school gather to vote on association policy, elect officers and determine the association’s priorities for the coming year.
Beyond the business of the association, it’s an opportunity to network with your peers and gain leadership skills.
All attendees are encouraged to participate in the following events:
- House of Delegates Business Meetings – During the business meetings, the House of Delegates receives updates about the business of the association, elects officers, debates resolutions and votes on policy.
Learn more about the House and its rules, as well as resolutions that will go before the House this year.
- Reference Committee Hearings – During these hearings, all attendees can voice their feedback about a resolution to be voted on by the House of Delegates. This is a great opportunity to make an impact on the association’s policies, initiatives and directives for the coming year. - District caucus meetings – Discuss resolutions, interview officer candidates and elect a district trustee with other members of your chapter and district. Learn more about the chapters in your district
- Presidential Leadership Training – New this year, a forum where current chapter presidents in attendance at Annual Session will review event timelines and discuss chapter programs with peers and members of the Executive Committee. There will also be an opportunity to discuss district leadership positions and general information about district applications.
- Dental Marketplace – Network with potential employers and vendors while discovering new resources on the Marketplace floor.
