Advocacy is a broad-ranging topic in ASDA. Thousands of ASDA members are already advocating for something, even if they don’t know it! The All About Advocacy! Chapter Idea Exchange will provide a space for participants to learn about a successful advocacy event before diving into sharing their own experiences. Participants will share ideas, discuss common challenges, and brainstorm ways to overcome advocacy obstacles.
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Hear about a successful advocacy event one chapter held and the reasons for its success.
- Gain new ideas for advocacy events to implement.
- Learn from other ASDA members across the country about how to address challenges at the local level.
