ASDA offers many resources to help predental clubs get started and grow into vibrant organizations on campus. Although ASDA does not have official predental chapters, we encourage predental clubs to utilize many of the templates developed for ASDA chapters for recruiting members, managing a budget, organizing events and communicating with members.

Predental Organization Toolkit

ASDA’s Predental Advisory Committee created a toolkit for predental clubs that includes tips for starting a new club, establishing leaders, fundraising and holding events. The toolkit also provides templates for constitution and bylaws, shadowing guidelines and requests for funding. Download the toolkit.

For more tips, read "10 dos for starting a predental club" (January 2013 ASDA News) and "Starting a predental club" (February 2012 ASDA News).

Oral Health Education Programs

Educational events provide a great opportunity for predental students to start interacting with the public about oral health topics, take a leadership role in their community and address an important dental public health issue. Download the how-to guide: Oral Health Education Programs for Predental Clubs to learn how to plan, run and improve an oral health awareness program.

Creating Community Service Committees

Developing community service committees is a great way to create new leadership opportunities within your predental club while providing volunteer experience to members and improving your community. Download this guide to learn how to create a committee at your club and divide work among the different positions.
